Indian Steel Design Code

Designing for India? GT STRUDL can now validate its design based on the IS 800:2007 Indian Standard (Code of Practice) along with new sections from this standard. Don’t wonder if a project fits the design standards; know it.

User Interface

We’ve made GT STRUDL work smarter with a few small tweaks that make a big difference. Additions like scroll bars, remembering your last preference for member end releases, grouping members to describe physical member definitions, and more.

Offshore

We’ve added a steel table for built-up tubular sections for offshore structures. These predefined shapes should be huge time savers for our offshore users.

Hot Spot Influence Function (HSIF)

You can now convert linear member finite element forces into stresses on ‘hot spots’ along the weld lines between two tubular members to check for fatigue failures.
